COVID-19 Information
At Be Well Women’s Health, the well-being of our patients is of paramount importance to us. The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a lot of anxiety, confusion, and disrupted schedules. We are in touch with and following daily the updates from the New Jersey Department of Health, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Center for Disease Control, with regards to evolving recommendations for the safety of our patients, community, and staff members.
We want to reassure you that our office adheres to strict infection control guidelines established by the Center for Disease Control Prevention. Furthermore, we are taking additional steps to avoid spread of this virus and all other infections in our office.
CORONAVIRUS PREVENTION ACTION PLAN
We ask that you call us to reschedule any upcoming appointments if you or a member of your family experience any of the following in the past 14 days:
● Fever
● Cough
● Flu like symptoms
● Shortness of breath
● Symptoms of a cold or allergies
● Travel or contact with anyone that has travelled outside of the country or to a heavily affected area, or have known exposure to anyone with the virus or symptoms of this infection
We will accommodate any patient with the above findings but has urgent medical concerns, with telephone encounters and situation specific guidance.
Any and all staff members that show any signs of infection are required to stay at home.
Routine appointments that are not time sensitive will be re-scheduled.
Furthermore, all essential appointments are being spaced out with a minimum of 30 minute between patients.
Patients will be screened again at the front desk prior to check in for the visit.
All surfaces are wiped down between patients following CDC and OSHA recommended products and procedures.
Handwashing before and after all patient encounters as always will continue to be strictly enforced.
We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and take the appropriate actions to minimize any risks for those that need to be seen. We do offer telemedicine appointments. Call to ask us if that would be appropriate for your visit.
Thank you for your support and understanding during this time. Please call, text, or email our office with any questions. You are not alone. These measures are to protect the most vulnerable amongst us.
Together we will all Be Well.
